01/10/2001 Wednesday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's The first shipment of the 2001 collection boxes arrived today! Here's what arrived: (you'll find these in category Travel & Leisure) Grand Piano, trumpet, saxophone, violin, suitcase, golden gate bridge, statue liberty, white house, lincoln memorial, Mt. Rushmore, Empire State building. A box new to our Special occasions also arrived - the silver wedding bell with clapper! Another piece to the Beatrix Potter Series - new to our site: the Jemima Puddle-duck Book Frame.

I think I'll do the Childrens and the new "Business & Professional" next. 01/10/2001 Wednesday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's This morning I got some expected delivery dates on the NEW Midwest PHB's! I guess I better get on the ball and put all the pictures/listings up because many of the new boxes are already ON THE WAY TO OUR SHOP! So the first NEW shipment will be here very soon, and others to follow end of January through March. The last of the new boxes to arrive will be the Barbie Boxes which have expected delivery date of early to Mid March. Stay tuned!!!!!

01/03/2001 Tuesday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's Oh what a FUN year this is going to be!!!! Did you all get my news? The new PHB's are the greatest!! Midwest of Cannon Falls just gets more clever each year! If you can't stand it - take a peek in the new boxes above - the pictures that I have right now are pretty bad, but I'll have some good ones really soon. LOTS of boxes have been removed from the current line, expect to see a lot of SOLD OUT's going up this year. We'll keep all the retired pictures and listings up - we hope that you enjoy this website not only as a source for buying boxes but as a reference and information for your "hinged box addiction"! I had my husband hang some glass curios in my office over the holidays, this place is now WALLPAPERED in Curio's full of little boxes!!

01/02/2001 Tuesday Halcyon Days Enamels - Happy New Year!! I updated several of our Halcyon Days pages - lots of new boxes for 2001, the Space Odyssey 2001 is neat! Some others: Champagne 2001, Mini 2001 Year box, Fox, Panda, Tortoiseshell Cat and a beautiful Christmas Tree Bonbonniere Box. Hansel & Gretel, the Gauguin Hermitage box, the latest to the Hermitage Museum collection, each limited to 500 boxes. 2001 is the Year of the Snake in the Chinese Zodiac - this Snake box is now on the website, and also a cool looking Snake Bonbonniere box. A couple others that I'd never even seen before - I have to take their pictures then list them.

12/14/2000 Thursday Lost Power The ice has melted and the power is back! We were without power & light here yesterday for over 12 HOURS! Finally, it's been restored and we are back to packing boxes for your Christmas deliveries!!

12/14/2000 Thursday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's Would you believe my McDonald's french fries boxes are actually enroute??!! It's true, and we will have french fries in time for Christmas!! Yipee! They should be here any day now. Today I found a cute little retired snowman box that I had received in a long time ago and never got around to listing - I have several of them, and listed in the Christmas category. It's a Sandi Gore Evans box - the Frosty Follies mini snowman - available!!

12/08/2000 Friday Halcyon Days Enamels - I have a Halcyon shipment arriving in a couple days, there will be some retired boxes in this one - just in time for last minute Christmas gifts! I hope to put up the retired list soon, as usual, they retire a LONG list of boxes each year.

12/08/2000 Friday Limoges Boxes Finally started to add to the "Chanille" pages under "Limoges Importers". I have one page with a brief history about Chanille Limoges, and another with some of their pretty Perfume boxes - I'll add lots more of their Limoges inventory .......... in my spare time.

"Mothers Are the Best" - this one is a great gift for mom this Christmas - find it in category Love Messages.

12/04/2000 Monday Night Hinged Box Madness! Just a quick general note........ sorry for the lack of new news & updates here, we are just completely swamped in orders - another 100 boxes out the door today! If you need to check status of an order or have any questions about delivery time, please email us, we are right on these emails and we are turning out the orders very quickly. Kevin has been working 2nd shift, he was a little bit cranky so I took him out for a nice "bonus dinner" on Sunday. Now he's back to packing boxes again this evening. We've been so busy packing and shipping orders that we have a STOCK PILE of new boxes - if you are looking for something special, inquire within as it may be a while yet before all of the new boxes get listed into the site. 11/19/2000 Sunday Halcyon Days Enamels - New! Golden Lab in Basket - also comes as a Black lab in red basket. Halcyon introduced about 4 pages full of more late 2000 release boxes, I'll work on those pictures soon. The 2nd in the doll box series was announced. Her name is "Rosaline".

Also just listed tonight, in "Birds & Garden" - several new boxes, very pretty fountain with statue in center. Garden Bench with potted flowers is CUTE! New carousel in Babies & Children section. New Roses Box in Special Occasion. Oops! I forgot to put up the new chicken. I'll add him now to the "Animals - Misc." section.

10/11/2000 Saturday More Hinged Boxes In cateogry Cats and also in category Dogs - the boxes that were marked "coming soon" - are now in stock. These are really cute, porcelain, and very inexpensive - nice variety of some new cats and dogs!

11/09/2000 Thursday Fabulous Fakes An assorment of old styles and a few new ones arrived this week. New in travel, another version of the Eiffel Tower, a ship, and a globe. Party Box is back - in special occasion. In Household & Furniture, the EB133 colorful wardrobe is back! A pretty new snail in "Sea & Water" category. The gorilla is back! I'm sure there are more - have a look around..................

11/06/2000 Monday Limoges Boxes Whew! Seems we are working full-time double shifts in the shipping department and haven't had time to put the new boxes that have come in up on the site. For now, tonight I updated the Limoges Disney page with some pictures that were missing like the Mickey Hand, Shoe, and Pocket Watch. Also Susie Thimble and the Fantasia 2000 collection. I'll put some more pictures up this week, about 10 new Limoges Boxes came today!

12/02/2000 Thursday Halcyon Days Enamels - Two new boxes in the Disney-Pooh section: Eeyore 2000 and a mini Tigger box. These boxes make great gifts for extra-special friends.

11/02/2000 Thursday Limoges Boxes NEW BOXES TODAY!!!! New - absolutely GORGEOUS gingerbread/candy wintery cottage - in category "Cottages & Houses". THREE new dog boxes - sleek looking black labrador retriever, spotted gray dog - CUTE, and a German Shepherd, all in category "Animals - Dogs". My favorite of the goodies today - in category "Travel" with the beach boxes - a pretty Beach Trunk - sunglass shape on top and inside is a fabulous pair of platform strappy sandles. Sandles do come out of the box. Another pretty heart - this is first I've found done in pretty yellow/gold colors - look in category "Hearts".

10/30/2000 Monday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's FINALLY! McDonalds boxes arrived this afternoon!!!!!! Also in are Goldfish bag, Slinky, Lucy as Carmen Miranda, Harley Side-car, tonka trucks, and lots of other goodies. Pre-orders are being worked now and what came in is going OUT this week.

10/28/2000 Saturday Fabulous Fakes FINALLY!!! About 98 percent of the boxes that were marked "coming soon" are now availble. I'm adding the "add to cart" buttons now. So far I've finished these categories: Animals, Birds, Cats........ working on all the other categories now. IN ADDITION TO THE "COMING SOONS" THAT ARE NOW IN, THERE ARE EVEN MORE NEW FABULOUS FAKES BOXES WHICH I'M ADDING TO THE SITE NOW!!!! HINGED BOX HEAVEN, NO DOUBT!!! The total number of NEW boxes made available tonight was ONE HUNDRED AND EIGHT!

10/27/2000 Friday CollectibleBoxes.com - WARNING, WARNING.........Today I did some "spring cleaning" to Christine's Closet. Some things have been moved around on the site, if you can't find something you were used to or discover any broken links - please let me know. Never ending "organizing" around here! The Staffordshire collection has finally been moved to the CollectibleBoxes.com - just finishing up adding all the cart buttons. This is about the last category of boxes that needed moved. Maybe we can add some new products after the holiday shopping frenzy.

10/23/2000 Monday Midwest of Cannon Falls PHB's Our shipment of McDonalds boxes, Gold Fish Bag, Slinky, and Golden Books will be arriving within the next 7-10 days!!!! We will be sending out the McDonalds boxes and these others to you just as soon as possible - WOW, we waited a LONG time for these. Elvis boxes still not due in till November, a couple of them as late as end of November.

10/12/2000 Thursday Limoges Boxes New, new new!!! Over 15 new style Limoges boxes arrived today! In Childrens section - Madeline Doll in doll box - love this one!! In Household - black singer sewing machine, needle box, 3 different thimble boxes. Sports & Hobby - fishing pole! Special occasion, a really sweet looking layered cake with 2 bluebirds on top. Also in houshold, a new silver cell phone (bonjour!), in Musical is a gorgeous new golden brown grand piano! Sea & Water, a new style alligator. Animals - Dogs, yet another adorable little Yorkie sporting a pink ribbon. A new flower box in the Birds & Garden section. Coffee & Tea section, a beautiful coffee pot and 2 cups on white/lily of the valley/ladybug box. Animals-miscellaneous - 3 jungle animals on one box, lion/tiger/elephant. Last but certainly not least, the most beautiful tea cart I've seen yet. The top has two pretty teacups and eggcups and the bottom tray has a couple dessert plates and a book. Inside is a really pretty painting, and such a cute clasp - fork/spoon/knife! All of these boxes will be up by tomorrow night.

10/11/2000 Wednesday Limoges Boxes Finally!!! Tonight is the drawing! Remember we mentioned that we were going to have a drawing for a Limoges Box once we finished moving all the boxes to our new shopping cart program. Well, we're STILL working on tagging all the boxes for this shopping cart program - I guess we have a lot more boxes than I realized and this job will surely go on forever so........ tonight is the night, we will draw a name from all the hundreds of orders submitted through the shopping cart program. Feeling lucky? Check back late tonight, I'll post the winners' first name, city and state here. The Limoges Box being given away is this gorgeous potted pink gladiolas, extra special because it is numbered #1/500 and signed by "Versailles".

Pretty pink package gift box that says "For Someone Special" - in the Gift Box section. Also in Gift box section is new green floral rectangular box with heart pendant - very pretty!! New Snowman Skier in section Christmas. New Gucci Shoe box with 2 FABULOUS high-heeled shoes - in section "Purses, bags & shoes". The Book of Gardening! Comes with 3 garden tools, in the Birds & Garden section. Rochard Orchids in a Pot - also in Birds & Garden. I think that's all for tonight (yawn).................

09/17/2000 Sunday Limoges Boxes A beautiful new carrousel Limoges Box in "Babies & Children" section. This one is very big - 5 7/8" tall and has a flag on the top! More new Limoges boxes coming tomorrow!!

09/16/00 Saturday Halcyon Days Enamels - I've been working on the Halcyon Days pages - so many boxes to put up!! I put a lot of the new ones in category "Love & Philosphy Messages", they are such BEAUTIFUL boxes! Also started new Flowers section, but still have a lot of boxes to list there.

09/16/2000 Saturday Fabulous Fakes Three new Christmas boxes in the "Seasonal" category. They are larger boxes - at 4 3/4" tall each, a Snowman holding a bird, a Christmas Tree and a Santa. Got in a really small shipment of some re-stock today: Checkered Chair with kitty in Furniture, Beehive in Birds, the 001-98 Sewining Machine. Vanity Table, 2 different purses, and pocket watch style in Mens Club. More boxes coming next week - should be some new styles that I don't even have pictures for yet on the website.

Rochard, the ultimate specialist in hand made boxes from Europe, in partnership with Crummles Enamels, has a beautiful collection of Enamel boxes. I only have ONE box up so far but hope to add the entire collection. They have a great selection of Teddy Bears, and they do the Alice In Wonderland Series.

I took a break from unpacking boxes and started to display Artoria Limoges new additional pieces to their 2000 collection. I want them all!!!!!!!! Really great, original ideas - I love the new CD & Video Cassette Boxes and their Animal boxes just never cease to amaze me, I'll put some of those pictures up tomorrow. NEW!!!! Birdcages!! This is a new colletion to this site - there are 5 different gold cages with birds in them. I think there may actually be more styles that I ordered but only these 5 have come in so far. Each has a pair of pretty birds inside: Finches, Cockateel, Parrots, Love Birds, and Doves. Very Beautiful!! $20.00 each.
