12/23/2003 Tuesday IN STOCK!!! New Susan Paley Ladies!! I spent the entire afternoon opening up 24 HUGE boxes of the new Susan Paley collectibles. The plates, teapots, new magnets, etc........ all very very cute!!! There were TWO items in the shipment that I hadn't put on the site yet so I added those just now - they are the "Bread Tray" and the large set of 4 plates. The "Bread Tray" is too cute to cover up with bread, is so colorful & decorative, maybe a great "perfume tray" as well.

11/22/2003 Saturday Harmony Kingdom & Pot Belly Boxes First shipment of the Harmony Kingdom & Pot Bellys Boxes has arrived. I think these are the most clever little boxes. They are made of crushed marble, like no other box I've ever had on this site, and there is a huge variety of them. I'll be adding more of the pictures and listings this month and next.

11/16/2003 Sunday Holiday Shopping The Holiday shopping has definately started at the website. The elves worked lots of overtime this weekend! With this heavy ordering already happening, I know the next 2 months are going to be a real rush so PLEASE do your shopping with us NOW so we can have all your goodies shipped out to you in time for Christmas. Don't wait until the final week, the items you want may be gone as the goods are flying off the shelves!

10/24/2003 Friday Head Vases Joy, joy, joy!!!! THREE HUGE boxes larger than my body arrived today - FULL OF CHRISTMAS GIRL HEADS! The shipment was double what I thought it would be as the girls were packed TWO sets per item and even better news, the retail price on the girls is 34.95 per SET, not per girl. I had it listed incorrectly at the site - it is now fixed and of course, all of you that pre-ordered at the high price of 69.95 per set will now see this price chopped in HALF on your order. And what a set it is, the girls are absolutely beautiful!! The salt & peppers arrived too. I did have those correctly priced, they are 21.95 per set. Order now because this is the only shipment we will receive on these items this year.

10/08/03 Wednesday Everything! A ton of new things have come in this week. Who's paying for all this STUFF?! This little handsome fish is Bucky. Bucky is one of the many new Katherine's Collection ornaments that I just put up. I love these ornaments, they are SO colorful and fun!! Click on bucky and he'll take you to the Figurines & Decor, then choose Katherine's Collection. I have more of her stuff scattered through-out the site, tassel dolls, hinged boxes, etc.

I added lots of new Limoges boxes and still working on a couple more of the Santa box pictures to put up. Some Halloween charms came today, I'll add those tomorrow. Check the "Rucinni & Others" page - I added lots of the glamour type boxes and new perfume bottles. These are some great affordable gifts. What else...... a huge shipment of brand new style Fabulous Fakes arrived, haven't opened it yet. Check back end of week to see those posted. Cameo girls: a lot of styles have been retired and run out. About 8 or more new releases will be coming in January. Clear your china cabinets! New Kelvin chen pieces, Christmas ornament bells and hearts. I've just started the listings for them in the Kelvin Chen section. Brian Baker: I got about 50 or more of these pieces in. Some of the pieces date back to 1999, they are all brand new straight from the manufacturer in nice gift boxes, some of them numbered editions. I'm sure there's more - shop around the site, it's a good time to get started on some Christmas shopping. Cheers!

10/01/2003 Wednesday Talexia Italian Charms! I added the Talexia charms to our inventory!! First shipment arrived today - Betty Boop, Looney Tunes, Sesame Street, Mr. Magoo, Popeye & Family, Mr. Potato Head! I have yet to get them all posted at the site, so far only the Betty Boops are listed.

08/26//03 Tuesday Biddys! The Biddy Collection is new to the website. I put up the first 2 pieces tonight, the others will get listed this week. Lil' Old Biddys!

08/21//03 Thursday Everything! What a day! Grateful Dead Bears edition 10 finally arrived today!! All preorders will be shipped out by Monday. EIGHTEEN new Limoges Boxes arrived!!! New Katherines Collection items arrived! New charms arrived! New fabulous fakes arrived! What else........ I'm still trying to get the new Lenox boxes pictures posted. Watch for all this and more to be listed this coming week. I'm cracking the whip, there will be no coffee breaks next week!

08/08/2003 Friday Italian Charms More of the $6.00 Disney charms came in. Belle, Cinderella, Tinkerbell, Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Mickey & Minnie. The pictures and listings will be added to the site tomorrow. Also some laser charms are now available in the lower prices - I got in some cool ones that say: Born to Shop, Shopaholic, Domestic Goddess, Shit Happens, Girls Rule, Spoiled Rotton, Harley, Spoiled Brat, Beach Bum, Bitch. They look great and they are only $5 bucks each!

08/07/2003 Thursday Flip Flop Accessories! I just listed the cutest little necklace and earring sets - they are tiny flip-flops decorated in crystals and bright colors. The patriotic sets are great, and the pink beaded set - I've claimed one for myself. I also got an anklet/toe ring set with LADYBUGS! If you are crazy about the flip flop accessories, peek in my Italian Charms, there is a new category of the flip flop charms there too.

08/07/2003 Thursday Cameo Girls What a week! The 4 new cameo girls came in 2 part shipments this week. We've been shipping cameo girl orders all week and tonight we have finally boxed up and labeled the last of your pre-orders! Whew! We may fill up the entire UPS truck after today's work. 07/18/03 Friday Everything! I hope you all are having a great summer! Today it must have reached the 100's here in Austin, TX, HOT HOT HOT! Today I added some new Tassel Dolls, ran out of light to do their pictures so hope to finish this weekend. I added a "Cat Doctors" purse (happy cats in their medical scrubs), and an adorable "Princess Pug" handbag. Lower priced Disney charms are in, I'll put those up soon. New herdoos are in, check back to see new listings. I wish I could get caught up! Cameo Girls will be here the first week of August, can't wait! 06/04/2003 Wednesday Lady Tassel Dolls I've been oohing and aweing all night at the new tassel dolls. I put up 8 new elegant fairy tassel dolls, several angels, and then ran out of light to finish pictures on this last set that just steals the show. They are a limited edition set, only 5,000 of each made and they are THE MOST beautiful of any I've ever seen to date. I'll do their pictures tomorrow. I don't know how the retail can be as low as it is on these, the detail and glamour will just amaze you.

Order now, we do not charge your card until they come in and we ship to you. Cute as ever and new personalities: Scarlet, Jamie, Hedy, Juliette, Ginger, Mia, Miranda, Caitlin, & Nicole. There is a tea bag holder set too - 4 pieces, but I do not know the names on those yet. Thank you Susan Paley for these wonderful girls, we absolutely love them!!

05/13/03 Tuesday Well Hello World! Our website and email were completely DEAD from last night at midnight until just now, 6:30 cst time. Some construction incident destroyed a major line with our provider - so we were told. If you did not get a reply from us today or need to order, the site appears to be back in operation now. I guess this was to be my "vacation day", now back to work!

05/09/03 Friday Everything! T.G.I.F and HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND!!!! What a whirlwind of a week it has been here! The Mother's Day gift-giving season turned into a mini Christmas gift-givining season, not a single moment to spare..... it's been a GREAT week in Texas!

Also keeping us busy, we have just leased an ADDITIONAL 1200 sq. ft. to our store and warehouse so we are busy painting and shelving. I'll put some picutres up in the "about us" as I finish remodeling this summer. New arrivals: I have added quite a few new things to the site this month but have not had the time to mention them all on this news page on a daily basis. Hopefully you all have discovered how to use the "New Stuff!" feature at this website to see all of the new goodies. Other news, the Christmas Susan Paley lady vases came in, they are adorable!! Cameo Girls should have some new additions announced in June. I added some new collections to the Italian Charms - Sponge Bob & Peanuts!! New boxes in various categories will be arriving in June - July. Then we'll be doing some gift shows during the summer to bring in even MORE new things. We welcome your suggestions!

03/17/2003 Monday News? We had no news last week because we took our spring break week OFF and went skiing in Breckenridge, Colorado! What a treat that was!! Now, we are all back (no broken bones), and working hard to catch up. With over 300 orders to get shipped out, you probably won't see much new on the site this week. I did get the tassel dolls listed tonight, and will add some nice pictures once I get caught up. Same with the Custo purses. Closed editions with limited stock: Just For You Mickey, Gee, Your're the Sweetest Minni, Pinocchio & Jiminy Cricket. These 3 pieces officially retire on February 12, 2003. They will no longer be available to purchase after that date. Coming in June, 2003 is a new "Miniature Collection", a new series of Disney designs with much lower prices. This open edition series will include a "Birth-stone Mickey" series.

I have a couple more to put up this week, and another 45 more coming in February & March. There are so many new designs this year!

01/03/2003 Friday Lady Tassel Dolls I'm finally finding some time to put up new items that have come in before Christmas. December was a complete whirlwind, I blinked and it was over! The pictures of the Hispanic Tassel Dolls are now working and I updated the African-American girls pictures. Also added 2 new ones to the Victorian collection, more of the beautiful velour outfits. I added another Americana angel tassel doll, the two of these together look beautiful!! Enjoy! Tomorrow I hope to start the pictures of the birthstone cakes hinged box collection!

12/06/2002 Friday EVERYTHING!!!!! We were bombarded with shipments today!! So many new things have arrived, I only hope I can get half of them up before Christmas. 11/26/2002 Tuesday Lady Tassel Dolls I got in over 20 new styles of these Tassel Dolls & Fairies this week. I just spent the entire evening taking each and every one out of their boxes to list on the site. I'm completely hooked on these - just what I need in this house, another collection. They do look so nice with my head vase collection though. I have about 5 left to get listed along with this fantastic brass stand that you can hang them all over. I have not gotten any of the new ones pictures done yet, hope to finsh during the weekend. For now, we are all taking a THREE day holiday. The shipping department is officially closed from Wednesday 11/27 through Friday 11/29. UPS does not deliver or pick-up on Thursday or Friday anyway so that is our excuse for not working. All on-line orders submmited during this period will be shipped on Monday 12/2 and Tuesday 12/3. It is has been one incredible month so far, I can just imagine what December will be like here, so I will enjoy these 3 days of eating and lounging.......... wishing you all a very happy and safe holiday weekend too!

06/23/2002 Saturday New Stuff Coming!!! This week is Trade Show week and we are finding lots of new things!! The Lady Vases Collection has some new additions, tonight I added the listings for the Lady Fan Pulls and the Romantic Lady Ceramic Bags. The pictures won't display for another week or so though. Just thought you would be interested to see the new names associated with the girls, this is half the fun. New names coming: Marilyn, Judy, Gail, Victoria, Valentina, Brittany, Joanna, Julia, Pamela, and Jessica. Some of these are new Romantic Little Ladies and Romantic Lady Magnet Vases, and some are Series 2 of the Tall Romantic Ladies. We also found lots of new Limoges Boxes and several new collections of Hinged Boxes. It's going to be a very busy summer getting all this stuff on the website. We saw the newest Cameo Girls in person for the first time, delivery is right around the corner, the newest Celeste - Chic Essentials - limited to 500 pieces, will absolutely take your breath away! There are several new Christmas pieces in the Kelvin Chen collection, hinged teapot boxes and stamp boxes. My white-wash cabinets are back, I'll relist those next week. 04/16/2001 Tuesday Midwest PHBs I found a few more of the Bride Wedding Shoe and the McDonalds Tray so I marked those as available again. Midwest of Cannon Falls has officially announced via letter on March 15, 2002 that the PHBs will be discontinued. In summary, they say "It is with regret that I must tell you that we will not be going forward with the PHB line." If you've been watching this site, you see we have been selling out of various styles daily. Yes, the well is about to dry up on these boxes. Prices are going up, you can be sure the values and prices on the PHBs will be pretty high in the years to come. Last month I saw a "Dopey" PHB sell for MORE than my Limoges Box Dopeys sell for. Tell that to the stuffy Limoges Dealers that warn you "stay away from the fakes" - hahahah, laugh all the way to the bank folks. Either they have their heads in the sand or they are just desperately trying to promote their "limited" line - LOL. We've had such great fun with these PHBs, and I'm not convinced that Midwest of Cannon Falls will quit this forever. Maybe we should bombard Mr. Vice President of Sales with requests to keep the line going. If you are interested in sending a quick note, let me know. Meanwhile, stock up, complete your collections, these are the boxes that everyone will be looking for next year. Look how hard it is now to find a "Jiff" box or a DQ Cone..... or how about the Cracker Jacks Box and the Eeyore box. Did you get yours? I have mine!!!

04/14/2002 Sunday Silver Charms Did you miss my daily notes? I've been working too much. I've been so busy changing the pages over to the new navigation system, sorry I haven't put up many notices latetly. I snuck a few new things in though and now that I have a good start on this new system, I'm going to take a break and start putting up all of the NEW merchandise that has been stock-piling up around here. These silver charms are new to the site. My girls got me started on them. The school kids love them, they are inexpensive gift & collectible items with such a very broad selection for both boys & girls. As I get them all posted, you'll see there is one for just about any occasion, sport, job, or memorable event you can think of. Great for gift giving! It's going to take a while to get them all listed so do check back every week to see what I have added in the sterling silver charms category. We also have the bracelets to hook them up to - in all different sizes! I'm wearing one myself - guess what the first two charms are that I bought for myself........... a COMPUTER charm and a COFFEE CUP charm! There is only one style that is new to the site - it is the Raggedy Andy Box - find it in the Childrens section. There is a similar box that has both Raggedy Ann and Andy on it. 01/19/2002 Saturday Lady Jewelry I put up the new collection of Lady Pins and Lady Pendant on Magnetic closure gold fashion chain. Go to the jewelry department and choose category "Lady Faces". I also added the Susan Paley Lady pins to this jewelry department and I updated all of their pictures. Since all of the new Bella Casa Susan Paley collection has come in, I've been updating the pictures with the real thing - they are much more vibrant and colorful than the scanned pictures that were posted. So far I've completed the Bag Ladies and the pins, now working on the Lady Magnet Vases and the Angel Vases. Love this collection!! 01/13/2002 Sunday Everything! Today was indeed a SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP day! This was the day we got to preview new lines and spend an incredible amount of money - my favorite thing to do! Every bone in my body aches from shopping today, you will not be dissappointed with new things to come to this website this year - I promise you that! What did we find? New Limoges Boxes, Halcyon Days Boxes, Midwest boxes, additions to the Lenox collection, loads of new porcelain fabulous fakes, more more more Kelvin Chen.. restock on tons of your favorite pieces (wiped out during December).. I'm sure I've left a few other categories out. And for my Lady Collectors, I found a collection of 4 lady heads for your garden - outdoor gals, and priced real low, you can decorate your entire garden with them. I also got first peek at the additions to the tall lady vases that I put up already. I was told that my first shipment is enroute! They are far more charming in person, dynamite! I found a lovely collection of lady pins, original - like nothing I've ever seen before in the pins! I wish I could snap my fingers and have all this STUFF posted on the web for you too see, but you will have to be patient and I will start to put up more of the new goodies this month and throughout February. Now tomorrow is another shopping day, I think I am going to pass out early and hope for a refreshed body in the morning.

The Limited Edition "George W Bush" box - has a beautiful picture of the White House on the front and inside it says: "George W Bush was inaugurated as 43rd President of the United States of America in 2001.
