I was writing in response to your Collectors corner My mother has a head vase collection she has around 70+ heads currently & we both LOVE them! My mother began collecting around 3yrs. ago when she purchased a ugly head at an auction. She found they made pretty ladies & soon purchased some off E-Bay we then bought a Cole book & PW then made our wish list; Brinns Love girl that gal w/ the heart necklace and many many more.

We have searched in local antique shops & around Iowa to no avl. When my mother & father Bob go on vacation they spend their time in antique shops. Last vacation she was able to purchase what I think looks like a Mexican bride she is part of that costume series for $25 it had a repaired hand, my mother actually pondered on whether or not to purchase it due to the damage. I said for $25 you'd be crazy not to! We purchased several vases at an auction here in independence IA where a woman from Chicago IL purchased the Marilyn head (we took our picture w/ the vase good enough for us).
